Book an Appointment at West NASA Parkway (South) - League City - Clear Lake - Seabrook - Friendswood - Nassau Bay

How booking works

  1. Book your time. You do not need your insurance information to book. Jane asks for a card to hold the appointment, and nothing is charged at booking.
  2. Complete your patient forms. They arrive by email right after you book. This is where your insurance information goes.
  3. We verify your benefits. Our Billing Team checks your coverage from those forms and emails you a summary of your coverage and any expected out-of-pocket cost before your visit.

Lactation coverage varies by insurance plan. If your plan does not cover the visit, we contact you before anything is charged, and you decide whether to continue at our self-pay rate.

Good to know before you book

  • Online booking opens about 48 hours out. That is the time our Billing Team needs to verify your benefits. If an earlier time opens up, our scheduling team will contact you.

  • If the adult patient isn’t pregnant, lactating, or inducing lactation, insurance will not cover your visit.
  • Home visits cannot be booked online. If your visit type says “contact to book”, please use our patient request form and our team will reach out.
  • Virtual appointments are not covered by these plans: UHSS, UMR, GEHA, UHC, BCBS Federal, and Cigna Allegiance.
  • HMO plans need a referral. If you have an HMO plan that we accept, an authorized referral must be received by your appointment date for the visit to be billed to insurance. Without it, the visit is billed at our self-pay rate.
  • Completing your forms promptly gives our Billing Team the most time to work on your benefits.

I’m Jennifer, a passionate Maternal-Child Health advocate with over two decades as a Registered Nurse and Community Health Educator. My journey began in New Orleans where I graduated from LSU Health Sciences Center’s School of Nursing. My love for Maternal-Child Health truly blossomed after witnessing a Midwife-assisted delivery while in nursing school.

From an RN at The Birthing Place at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic, to volunteering post-Hurricane Katrina, and moving to Houston pregnant with my twins, my passion for supporting moms intensified during my tenure at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas.

I soon realized teaching was my calling. 🍎 As a Certified Childbirth Educator, teaching an array of topics from Infant CPR to Marvelous Multiples, I specialize in empowering parents. And my own NICU journey with my preterm twins fueled my commitment to lactation support. In 2014, I became a Certified Lactation Counselor, and soon after, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
